How Lists Work
Each ASEAN Top 10list is an editor's selection based on public information. Not sponsored. Lists are a starting point for your own research — please confirm details directly with the business before you buy, book or sign.
The three list types
Most ASEAN Top 10 lists are editorial: our editors choose ten entries worth knowing, based on publicly available information such as company websites, public registers, media coverage and public reviews. The order reflects the editors' judgement.
Best for: Best manufacturers, suppliers, brands, places to eat or places to visit.
Some lists are ordered by a single public number — for example company size, output or visitor numbers. The article names the figure, where it came from and when it was checked.
Best for: Largest, biggest or most-visited questions.
Some lists follow public customer ratings (for example Google reviews) checked on a stated date. Ratings change over time and reflect each platform's own reviewers.
Best for: Crowd favourites — popular restaurants, hotels and services.
